Hubby and I have been married for nearly 25 years and even though we had a ring for him and he wore it on the day, he hasn't worn it since. He hates jewellery and it just irritates him so it was no big deal that he didn't wear it. I have had no reason to worry either. It's nice that you want to get one.
I wouldn't worry about trying to catch up. It will only put you under unnecessary stress and that can, in turn, make you less likely to continue submitting. I would rather see one deviation every now and then, to not seeing any of your work at all.

I agree with what my sister said (=nutmeg-42) ...I'd rather catch up with you 'now & then' than NOT AT ALL! Congrats on your special 'ring choosing' for Rachel. Neither I nor my hubby wear a ring. Not because we don't want to, just irritating I guess. Besides... mine doesn't fit anymore (22 years for us)

I feel the same way, I haven't had a ring so it kind of feels like I have a bruised finger. It does feel good when I talk about being married at work, cause when I didn't have it they would look for it and give me a strange look like I was telling a lie. Thanks for the comment! Even if I can't get back right away it's nice to know someone likes it.
I understand that, that's why I haven't had one. When we got married we just bought the cheapest rings possible. I wore it a few days, but it wasn't comfortable. I figure I just have to get use to it, and then I won't think about it. I did forget it today and I felt a little naked with out it. Thanks for the comment!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
